Things to Note:

  1. Daniel George is listed as widowed so Mary McSween died before 1900. – this coincides with the information I have that she died in 1897 – look for her death record.
  2. Daniel George was born Mar 1823 in Alabama – this coincides with what I have already.
  3. Daniel George’s father was born in Alabama, and his mother was born in Georgia. – This matches what I have for his father, but not for his mother.
  4. Daniel George is listed as a landlord.
  5. Daniel George’s Daughter, Mary Ardana George, married W. Edward Hall in about 1890. – look for marriage record.
  6. Mary Ardana George went by Danie.
  7. Mary Ardana had 8 children, 7 still living. – verify I have all her children.
  8. Mary Ardana George was born in Apr 1861 in Texas. – Look for birth record.

Things To Do:

  1. Look for Death Record for Mary McSween George who died before 1900.
  2. Make a note of the fact there is a different birth location for Daniel Ball’s mother.
  3. Look for a Marriage Record for W. Edward Hall and Mary Ardana “Danie” George in about 1890. Start by checking Texas.
  4. Verify that I have all the children for W. Edward Hall and Mary Ardana George.
  5. Look for a birth Record for Mary Ardana George, born in Apr 1861 in Texas.
  6. Daniel George is listed as a landlord, but this census record states that W. Edward Hall owns his farm free and clear, does this mean that Daniel George was renting his place out to someone else, and if so, then who?
  7. Look for land deeds for Daniel George and W. Edward Hall.

Next To Do: Look for Death Record for Daniel Ball George. I have that he died in 1904.
